Simultaneous interpreting requires the use of technical material. Depending on the event that is being planned, simultaneous translation booths, an infoport system (mobile equipment) or other additional technical elements might be needed. If you wish so, we can assist you with the technical requirements of your event and contact our trusted technicians to install and handle all the necessary equipment.
Simultaneous interpreting in congresses and other events with a high number of participants requires installing soundproof simultaneous translation booths and a comprehensive sound system: a PA system, a sound mixer, interpreting consoles, microphones and headsets. A sound technician will be on site to install the booths and handle all the sound equipment.
Infoport Equipment (portable system)
Through special earphone sets, participants in a meeting are able to communicate without booths. This modality is more affordable than interpreting booths. It is suitable for meetings with a small number of participants and when only two languages are intended to be used. It is very well adapted to business meetings, training courses, small press conferences and presentations, or other small events. The upside is that the conversation flow becomes more fluent, as participants do not necessarily need to use a microphone when they wish to speak.
